Thomas works with the MD Forest Service as Natural Resources Technician for the Frederick City Watershed (FCW). He implements various forest management practices in accordance with the 2020 Sustainable Forest Management Plan for FCW such as prescribed fires, invasive species control, timber stand improvement cuttings, and trail/boundary maintenance. He earned his A.A.S. in Forest Technology from SUNY-ESF Ranger School in 2019 and his B.S. in Natural Resources Management from SUNY-ESF in 2020. He enjoys, hiking, running, camping, and baseball.
