Beth works as a Grazing Specialist in Frederick, Washington, Allegany and Garrett counties. She works primarily with livestock producers who are interested in establishing or enhancing their grazing/forage systems on their farms to better utilize the land they have. She writes grazing plans and helps farmers plan where fences, watering facilities, gates, and other management practices that would best fit into their operation as well as help with recommendations on forage types to plant for their particular goals. Prior to this position, Beth worked for Soil Conservation Districts in both Delaware and Maryland.
